'TAL Project'

What it's like to be

Men's Fashion Blogger in Korea :

Men's Daily Look Styling

2016. 06. 07

If you ask me What it's like to be Men's Fashion Blogger in Korea,

I would gladly answer you.

It's not only 'Tough' and 'Difficult' but also 'Interesting' and 'Fun'.

"What does it mean, dude?" You may ask me again.

In that case, I'll explain it.

Indeed, according to 'Blog Chart' which is South Korean blog ranking service site,

there are more than 10,000,000(10 million) blogs in korea,

where its population is estimated to be around 51 million people.

Of course, it doesn't mean that 1 out of 5 Korean people actually runs his own blog.

No, it's not true.

Sometimes, as you may know or do that too,

bloggers run more than just one blog on their own sake.

(There are also other cases that some bloggers make a team blog,

about which I am not sure whether it's good or not)

Also, accoring to 'Blog Chart', Fashion & Clothing Blogs are estimated as 9.3% in total,

which means there are 930,000 Fashion blogs in South Korea.

So, this explains why I said that

being Men's Fashion blogger in Korea is kind of tough and difficult.

Oh, by the way, as you may guess,

in Korea there are not so many Men's Fashion bloggers,

which seems quite good but also means it's very competitive to each one of us

- Men's Fashion Bloggers in Korea.

It's wild out there, being Men's Fashion Blogger in Korea.

Still, it's very appealing, interesting and fun !

A Tistory blog 'TAL Project' features men's daily look styling, 'TAL Fashion'

(Personally, I invented that expression 'TAL Fashion' as my own Fashion Style

out of 'TAL Project', the blog name of mine.)

Whenever people put a comment about my fashion on blog or Instagram,

where i usually upload my Daily Look pictures

like (as they are saying) 'Nice' & 'dope' & 'awesome' & 'love it' etc,

It feels so good that you get recognized for something.

Especially when you receive compliments from fellow fashion bloggers, It's the best.

Usually, 'TAL Fashion' Daily Look pictures are taken just in front of the path

between the apartment and the road out there.

I've been using that path since my family moved in that apartment (almost 10 years ago)

then suddenly it became my own photo shooting place.

At first, I was quite nervous to strike a pose in the middle of the path,

where at any time somebody can walk toward me.

A while back then, my older brother helped me by taking pictures of me

but after he moved out i had to take pictures on my own.

That's when i started using tripod and bluetooth remote controller with my smart phone.

It was tough and lonely challenge for me but the result was just fine.

With above youtube clip that i made 4 months ago,

you may guess what it's like to be Men's Fashion Blogger in Korea

and how i do it on my own way.

The reason why I can strike a pose in front of my smart phone on the tripod

at least once or twice a week is I think because I enjoy it.

I enjoy thinking of 'what to wear' and 'how to wear' today or tomorrow.

I enjoy more actually wearing the clothes as I imagined before.

That's why I love to be Men's Fashion Blogger in Korea.

Tough, Difficult doesn't matter.

PS) I hope you enjoyed reading this post and watching the clip.

Thanks !
